Knitting and fiber festival — Michigan Alpaca Fest in Allegan

The Michigan Alpaca Fest, the oldest alpaca festival in the United States, celebrates its 28th anniversary in 2026 with a festive atmosphere and a variety of activities for all skill levels. This year, the festival will run over two consecutive days, featuring a double show with two renowned juries for the halter show and the Walking Fleece. Beginners will find their place in the Small Breeder classes specially dedicated to their level. Held at the Allegan County Fairgrounds, this free event (donations accepted) promises an enriching experience for all lovers of these majestic animals.
