About Hallockville Museum Farm Fleece & Fiber Festival
Riverhead Raceway, located in the city of Riverhead, in Suffolk County, New York, is a driving school circuit measuring 0.250 miles (0.402 km) with an 8-figure track. This unique circuit on Long Island, and the only one still active, opened its doors in 1951 as a dirt track before being permanently paved in 1955. It is famous for hosting an impressive statue of an Indian chief, known as “Chief Running Fair,” which was restored after being destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
