About Fibretron, Festival of Yarn

The statue of John Fane Charles Hamilton can be found in the city of Hamilton, located in the Waikato region of New Zealand. This bronze statue was erected from 2013 to 2020 and commemorates Captain John Fane Charles Hamilton, an officer of the Royal Navy who died during the Battle of Gate Pā. Hamilton was named in his honor, thus remembering his role in local history.
